CallbackFor employers
Scorecard methodology · v0.1 · draft under counsel review

How the employer record is computed.

Every employer on Callback carries a public record — the trust line candidates see on each role’s own page and on the company page. This page is its complete method, published by Callback Hiring LLC, the New York limited liability company that operates the platform. “Public” means every signed-in person on the platform sees the same record — it is never shown selectively. It is computed automatically from platform records; no one, including Callback, hand-edits a number.

The rules that govern every metric

The metrics

  1. Typically answers in N days (same-day when under one)

The median time from a candidate's application to the first real answer they received — an advance to interviews, a decline with a stated reason, or a hire. When a hire fills a role, everyone still waiting on the delivered shortlist is declined as 'position filled' at that moment; that counts as an answer, timed from their application, because it is the answer the candidate got. Deadline enforcement, role removals, and applications returned when a role filled before its shortlist was delivered are never counted. Shown only once an employer has 5 or more answered applications in the window.

  2. Hires here

Confirmed hires on the platform, all-time — the one number that only accumulates. 'Offers outside the posted band' counts hires whose accepted salary fell outside the salary band the role was posted with.

  3. Missed answer deadlines

Times the employer failed to answer a candidate within the promised window (seven days from shortlist delivery, or from a hold's extension), causing the platform to remove the role and return the affected applications. One event per role removal.

  4. Roles ended in refund

Roles whose posting fee was actually refunded to the employer under the shortlist guarantee. Platform-initiated removals and free re-runs are not refunds and are never counted here.

Disputes and corrections

If you believe a number on your record is wrong, email hello@hirecallback.com from your organization’s account with the role(s) in question. We acknowledge within 5 business days, reinvestigate against the underlying records within 30 days, and either correct the record or explain in writing why it stands. Corrections apply from the source data — a fixed record recomputes everywhere it appears, and corrections are never silently reverted.

Changes to this method

If a definition changes, this page changes with it, dated, and affected records are recomputed under the new definition — no mixed-method records.

v0.1 — the initial method, matching the record as first published.
